Mr. Kyle Bolden

US-East Region Market Segment Leader – Real Estate Ernst & Young, LLP

Kyle Bolden is a Senior Audit Partner in the Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction practice of Ernst & Young LLP (EY). He serves as the US-East Market Segment Leader for Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction.  In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all EY services lines – Assurance, Tax, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions.  


During his over 25 years with EY, Kyle has served many of the Firm’s most prominent large and middle-market clients, including publicly traded REITs, private real estate operating companies, and private equity / alternative asset managers investing in real estate. Kyle serves as a thought leader and subject matter resource for corporate boards and management teams.  On a quarterly basis, he convenes public and private board members to provide tailored insight sessions on key governance issues such as innovation and transformation strategy, cyber risk and data privacy, supply chain management, investor relations, activism and engagement, sustainability/ESG, and current and emerging trends in AI.


He is a prominent, sought out speaker in the real estate industry for thought leadership specifically on sustainability/ESG, technology, diversity, equity and inclusion, and mentorship and has presented and published extensively.  
Kyle is a member of the ULI New York Advisory Board and the Technology and Real Estate Council (Blue Flight) as well as the ULI NY Awards for Excellence in Development committee.  EY is an Urban Visionary Sponsor for the ULI New York Gala.

He is on the board of directors of REEC – Real Estate Executive Council, the preeminent professional trade association for Black and Latinx professionals working in the commercial real estate industry; is an advisor to The Real Estate Roundtable Sustainability Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC) and a member of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee; is a Nareit member, advisor, and frequent speaker. He is a current board director and member of the finance committee for SparkYouth NYC, a nonprofit that supports local organizations that are transforming the lives of NYC youth.


Kyle earned a BS in Accountancy degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, is a member of the Dean's Board of Advisors and sits on the Council on Enrollment.  He is a licensed CPA in New York and New Jersey.
