Mr. Mike Amoia
Managing Director MetLife Investment Management
Michael Amoia is Head of Asset Strategy for MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM) Real Estate. He is responsible for High Yield Debt and Asset Strategies in the Debt Strategies group. Mike is a voting member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining MIM in 2017, Mike originated senior mortgage and mezzanine debt loans for transitional real estate properties in various markets across the United States and analyzed underlying real estate collateral for potential loan portfolio acquisitions and various CMBS transactions at Marathon Asset Management. He also served as Co-Head of Real Estate Asset Management. Before joining Marathon, Mike was the Northeast Region Manager at Merrill Lynch Capital, held a variety of roles including new business originations, portfolio management and asset management at Heller Financial, and worked in the audit practice serving real estate and financial service clients at Arthur Andersen & Co.
Mike earned a B.S. in Accounting from St. John's University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
