Chief Real Estate Officer Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

Jennifer Cloud is the Chief Real Estate Officer at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless overseeing housing development, property management and CCH voucher programs. She has fifteen years of experience working in affordable housing development for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and her previous role for 10 years at Steele Properties. Under her current role at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Jennifer is responsible for overseeing CCH's full and complex housing development pipeline. This includes new land acquisitions and new construction, in addition to resyndicating CCH's existing portfolio properties. She works extensively with the Colorado affordable housing finance community, with particular expertise in supportive housing needs and development in the Denver-metro area. She also oversees the operations of CCH's existing 18 residential properties. CCH's portfolio consists primarily of supportive housing units, but also includes other types of income-restricted units. Jennifer brings particular expertise in the challenges and opportunities of operating multifamily properties in the Denver market. Finally, CCH administers over 2,000 housing vouchers. CCH is a contracted voucher administrator for the Colorado Division of Housing, and also is the recipient of millions in HUD grant funding for rental assistance. CCH's voucher program includes housing navigation and voucher administration services. Jennifer has been working in communications, nonprofit marketing and fundraising, and housing development since 2007. In her housing development career, Jennifer has executed hundreds of millions in affordable multifamily real estate transactions, with thousands of units developed, utilizing federal, state and local affordable housing programs (LIHTC, Section 8, HOST, CDOH and FHLB AHP etc.); FHA, Fannie, Freddie, conventional, and bond financing; private and institutional investors. She brings her passion and skill for housing development and real estate to the Coalition and is grateful to serve the most vulnerable of communities with quality housing and supportive services. She enjoys her work in her home state of Colorado within the state's amazing affordable housing community. Jennifer also spent time at The Family Center, a New York City community-based nonprofit providing services to at risk families, where she worked on the resource development and communications team. She also spent time working in Public Relations consulting in San Francisco and New York City supporting nonprofits, arts and culture organizations, and technology companies. Jennifer received her bachelor's at Emerson College in Boston.
