Ash Lawrence joined AGF as Senior Vice-President and Head of Alternatives in February 2022. He is a seasoned leader with a wide breadth of expertise in investments and asset management.
Ash brings the right combination of strategic thinking, deep experience and strong relationships to drive the growth of AGF’s Alternatives business, which is central to the firm’s mission to bring stability to the world of investing.
Ash has approximately 20 years of private alternatives experience in global markets, including 16 years with Brookfield Asset Management where he most recently led the firm’s Canadian real estate business. Prior to that, he worked at a real estate company managing development strategies and the financing of municipal infrastructure projects. He also worked as an engineering consultant, developing infrastructure, traffic planning and parking solutions for real estate and government clients.
Ash earned an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science, Civil Engineering, from the University of Waterloo.

Cyndi Rottenberg-Walker is a Partner at Urban Strategies Inc., a global multidisciplinary urban planning and design consultancy with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Hamilton.
Her understanding of the many factors that contribute to healthy urban environments has been applied across a diversity of project types, scales, jurisdictions, and urban environments; and includes large-scale master plans, complex planning approvals and innovative policy studies. Cyndi’s recent projects include Princeton University’s award-winning 2026 Campus Plan, Campus Sustainability Framework and Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan; Cornell University’s award-winning Campus Master Plan; the transformation of the 28 acre former Mr. Christie cookie factory at the heart of Toronto’s Humber Bay Shores into a comprehensive mixed-use, transit-oriented community; remediation and redevelopment of the 70-acre former Imperial Oil refinery on the Port Credit waterfront into the award-winning mixed-use Brightwater Community and Innovation Campus; planning for Sidewalk Labs’ Master Development and Innovation Plan for Quayside on the Toronto waterfront; and the Master Plan to evolve Pinewood Toronto Film Studios waterfront complex into a comprehensive media and entertainment district and cultural hub. Cyndi was the planning lead for the Alexandra Park community revitalization, which received the Urban Land Institute’s Global and Americas Awards for Excellence in 2021.
Cyndi is Chair of the ULI Toronto Advisory Board; past Vice-Chair of the ULI Toronto Management Committee and its Chair of Mission Advancement; a member of both of ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative Champion Team and the University Development and Innovation Product Council. She is a Director with the Simcoe Chapter of the Lambda Alpha International Land Economics Society, and speaker at such events as the London Real Estate Forum; the Making Climate Performative Places Conference at Lund University Sweden; the University Presidents’ Climate Leadership Summit in Tempe, Arizona. Cyndi Co-Chaired ULI Toronto’s last three Symposiums, including its most recent in 2021 focused on Environment, Sustainability and Governance.

Ken Tanenbaum is the Founder and Chairman of Kilmer Developments, which has had a leading role in the construction and operations of such transformational projects as
the ONroute Highway Service Centres, the Pan Am Athletes’ Village, the West Village at Port Credit, and the West Don Lands Rental Housing program. Ken is the Chairman of Kilmer Brownfield, which is committed to creating value by remediating and repositioning contaminated land; he is the Executive Chairman of Coca-Cola Canada Bottling; and, he also serves as Vice Chairman of Kilmer Van Nostrand, a family holding company with interests in sports & media, private equity and real estate & infrastructure. He has a long history of volunteer leadership with many organizations. Ken is passionate about the promise of Canada and is committed to aligning Kilmer’s business interests with building healthy cities and vibrant communities. He lives in Toronto with his wife, Jennifer, and their four children.

Ms. Wolfe is the Chief Financial Officer and Global Head of Portfolio Management of Oxford Properties, a $60 billion global real estate investment, development and management business.
Ms. Wolfe leads a team of over 200 professionals responsible for financing and balance sheet management, strategic planning, portfolio management and capital allocation, risk management, financial reporting, tax, valuations and research on a global basis.
Ms. Wolfe is a member of Oxford’s Executive Management Team and co-chairs Oxford’s Investment Committee. Allison has served on several OMERS enterprise wide committees related to third-party capital, strategic planning, risk management and technology.
Ms. Wolfe has 20 years of real estate investment, finance and advisory experience and has worked on a wide variety of transactions in Canada, US, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Prior to joining Oxford in 2010, Allison was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley where she worked in both principle investing and real estate advisory in New York, San Francisco and Toronto.
Allison holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) from Queen’s University and currently serves on the advisory board for the Master of Financial Innovation & Technology program at Smith School of Business (Queen’s University)
