Joe Loidolt, President of Classic Homes, brings over 35 years of experience in the housing and building industry. A graduate of St. Cloud Technical and Community College with a Carpentry degree, he began his career in construction management, holding roles with MLM Construction Inc., Oxford Homes, Kambridge Building Company, and Ridgeline Building Company from 1982 to 1989.
Joining Classic Homes in 1990 as a Construction Superintendent, Joe quickly advanced to leadership positions. Within two years, he became Assistant Construction Manager. By 1994, he was named Division Manager for Classic Homes’ new homebuilding division in Boise, Idaho, where he successfully led operations for three years. He returned to Colorado Springs as Vice President and was appointed President in 2002. Under his leadership, Classic Homes has overseen the development of nearly 100 communities and over 15,000 homes in the Pikes Peak Region, including notable projects such as Flying Horse, University Park, High Forest Ranch, Sanctuary Pointe and Forest Lakes.
An active member of the Housing and Building Association of Colorado Springs for over 20 years, Joe served as its President in 2014 and continues to serve on various land development and construction related boards, further demonstrating his commitment to the industry and the local community.

Resilience Summit Opening Session: Preventing the Next Palisades Disaster – Learning from Colorado Wildfires
2024 saw 27-billion-dollar disasters, costing over $180 billon dollars, and 2025 is already on track to exceed these numbers. Reflecting on recent events that have shaped our collective approach and urgency, the opening session will explore resilience and recovery from Colorado and beyond. Local and national experts will share lessons learned from major fires in recent years that have shaped the state’s approach to protecting communities and property from the rising threat of intensifying fires in urban and developed areas. Speakers will include experts in intergovernmental coordination, local disaster response and recovery, wildfire protection strategies, and fire-smart building and development.
