Indraneel "Indy" Karlekar, equity owner and Managing Director, is the Global Head of Research and Strategy at Clarion Partners. He is a member of Clarion’s Executive Board and Investment Committee. Indraneel leads the research group in supporting the development of Firm-wide and business unit-specific investment strategy and advising on portfolio strategy through proprietary analytics, data science and econometric forecasting. Additionally, he is responsible for macroeconomic analysis, market forecasting, and research support for capital raising and client services. Indraneel joined Clarion Partners in 2024 and has been working in the industry since 1999. He regularly appears in media to discuss macroeconomic and global real estate trends and is a member of NCREIF, PREA and the Real Estate Research Institute (RERI).
