William E. Mosher Owner and Sole Member MAM Denver, LLC Currently CEO of the Denver Convention Center Hotel Authority, owner of the Hyatt Regency at the Colorado Convention Center. The 1,100 room hotel is currently undergoing a $70m major room renovation project while maintaining over 70% of available rooms. Bill also serves as a Mayoral consultant to the Chief Projects Office for the City and County of Denver. Responsibilities include the expanded Downtown Development Authority. Bill previously served as Senior Managing Director at Trammell Crow Company from March 2006 through December 2023. Bill oversaw the Company's development and investment activities in Colorado. Projects included industrial, office, retail, residential and health care related uses. Recent and current projects include: *History Colorado Center *Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Complex *Denver Union Station Project Authority, Owner's Representative *Denver Health & Hospital Authority, Medical Office Building *DaVita Headquarters, Build to Suit *University Physicians, Inc., Build to Suit #1 and #2 at Fitzsimons *1900 16th Street, a 3 phase high rise mixed-use office and retail project *Residential condominiums at Louisiana Station and Lúce at Lowry *Audi's Test Facility *Airways Industrial Park. Riverview offices on Platte Street Arvada transit center and Olde Town projects including hotel, retail and housing. A native of Denver, he has more than 50 years of experience in both the public and private sectors of urban real estate experience. Bill formed Mosher Sullivan Development Partners in 2003. Projects included the Hyatt and build-to-suit offices, including the new 315,000 SF Denver Newspaper Agency building in Downtown Denver. Bill previously was an owner, President and COO of Mile High Development (MHD). At MHD, he managed nearly $500 million in real estate projects, including the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building, the Cultural Center Parking Garage and the first University Physicians, Inc. build-to-suit project at the Fitzsimons Health Sciences Center. Bill served as President of the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP) from 1990-1999. At the Partnership he helped guide Downtown Denver’s rebirth in the 1990s by advocating, planning, managing, promoting and developing central Denver, including forming the Business Improvement District (BID) and initiating a downtown housing development strategy culminating in redevelopment plans for the Central Platte Valley. Prior to his association with the DDP, Bill served as the Executive Director of the Downtown Development Corporation (DDC) and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) in Tucson, Arizona. Under his direction, more than $75 million in private investment dollars were attracted to DDC projects, including office, retail, parking facilities and more than 1,000 new housing units. He also managed the IDA’s issuance of more than $500 million in industrial revenue bonds for various commercial and residential projects in the City of Tucson. This panel is intended to tell the story of the successful redevelopment of downtown Denver's Union Station. Union Station is a great example of the public and private sectors organizing around transit-oriented urban infill and compelling historic preservations. The panelists will be a collection of developers, city officials, transit officials, and design professionals who were instrumental in getting Union Station done.
