Proptech is often dumbed down as the next “it” amenity or operational improvement, but recent developments in strategic IT are worth a closer look: now, even small-to-mid-sized firms can optimize their entire operations and customer-facing benefits, to create a tech-first, centralized service delivery model that largely has been limited to big real estate firms and REITs. This panel will look at different approaches that regional firms and companies with smaller-scale assets are adopting, ranging from using off-the-shelf solutions that can work well together across the organization, to a “customization-light” approach wherein a firm builds its own tech backbone that knits together other solutions into a seamless, holistic platform.
